Verrucae, also known as plantar warts, can be extremely painful. They can range from a small pinhead up to a large singular or widespread mosaic covering and often contain black dots. Verrucae can disappear spontaneously or they can last for years.
REQUIRED TREATMENT
Specific diathermy techniques have been developed for the treatment of verrucae. It works on the ‘deep core’ and may help to trigger a viral immune response, which causes other untreated warts to spontaneously resolve.
